Project Spotlight: City of Tomball - Lizzie Lane Sub-Basin Drainage Improvements

With population growth and shifting rainfall patterns continuing to test local storm systems, OEI is working to build stronger, more resilient drainage networks. Through the Lizzie Lane Sub-Basin Drainage Improvements, our team enhanced stormwater conveyance across a 200-acre watershed, upgrading an earthen channel and controlled outlet system tied into a 54-inch RCP. From hydraulic modeling to outlet structure and channel stabilization design, OEI delivered improvements that mitigate localized flooding, reduce downstream impacts, and position the community for sustained growth and climate-ready performance.
