  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Professional Civil Engineer.  As a Project Manager PE, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing projects related to water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and drainage systems.   • • Take a lead role in managing projects from inception to completion. This includes developing project design concepts, creating project plans, and overseeing project execution within budget and schedule constraints.

    • Independently coordinate the efforts of engineers, designers, drafters, and sub-consultants throughout the project's lifecycle to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.

    • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings as needed.

    • Be actively engaged in various aspects of project management, from marketing and contractual development to design implementation.

    • Assist in managing the financial aspects of assigned engineering projects, optimizing the work effort within the project team to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.

    • Efficiently handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously, demonstrating your organizational and prioritization skills.

    • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design tools to prepare high-quality engineering and design documents.

    • Fulfill project team quality system tasks as defined in our Quality Assurance/Quality Control guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of work.

    • Visit construction sites to monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

  • • 7+ years’ experience in stormwater management

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

    • Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to become licensed within 3 months

    • Experience with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies

    • Experience with a diverse range of software packages such as AutoCAD, Water and SewerGEMS, GeoSTORM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS Pro, and the Microsoft office suite

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • • CFM Certification and/or experience in floodplain management practices

    • Experience with the preparation of design plans, technical specifications, and opinion of probable construction costs for stormwater infrastructure projects.

    • Experience with communicating technical municipal planning to public clients and community.

    • Experience with development of FEMA flood studies, LOMRs and CLOMRs. Knowledge of FEMA RiskMap Program, Guidelines and Standards for Flood Risk Analysis and Mapping, preliminary and post-preliminary processing, and the Mapping Information Platform (MIP).

    • Experience with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineer’s contracting and/or design project work.
